Youth must be between
the ages of 5-18 at this time to be eligible for membership in the Boys
& Girls Club at the Alexander City Middle School.
Fees:
Summer: $25.00 Registration - $25.00 per week
After School: $10.00 Registration - $5.00 per week
Membership applications
can be picked up at the front desk of the Boys & Girls Clubs between
3:00 pm and 6:30 pm Monday -Friday when school is in session or between
8:00 am and 5:15 pm when school is not in session.
Applications must
be filled out completely and the membership dues paid before children
are allowed to participate. Parents must attend a one hour orientation.
Club members will
be issued a membership card upon completion of a Club orientation. This
is usually done at registration and includes a tour of the Club, introductions
to Club staff, overview of Club rules, a calendar of events and a volunteer
application for the parent. Membership cards are necessary for staff
to identify youth as Club members, to check out equipment and to participate
in trips & special events. Lost cards can be replaced for $1.00
at the front desk.
Club members are
held to the guidance policies of the Boys & Girls Clubs and by registering
agree to follow the rules of the Club.
No refunds are given
for membership fees.
Visitors
Adult visitors must
check in at the front desk and secure a visitor badge before entering
Club
Youth visitors may
visit the Club one time during school sessions but may not visit if
they have already been a visitor or if school is out. Contact information is required for youth visitors before the visit.
